About the Brewery
Founded in 1890 at the base of Mt. Kakuda, this historic sake brewery produces premium sake under the brand name “Tsurukame”. The name, meaning crane and turtle, was chosen for its auspicious symbolism and easy recognition—representing good fortune and longevity.
The brewery crafts its sake in small batches, carefully adjusting conditions such as rice selection, washing, and water absorption each time, in order to bring out the full character of the rice.
Decorative Komodaru (Display Sake Barrel)
The Display Komodaru (sake barrel) is designed exclusively for decoration—perfect for Japanese interior and exterior design, shop displays, or special events.
・Can be stacked vertically, arranged in a pyramid, or placed side by side.
・Large sizes include flat-top types that can be used as tables, and recessed-top types that serve as product display stands.
・Available in multiple sizes (height 12.7 in – 23.6 in), making it suitable for restaurants, hotels, events, and home décor.
・Depending on arrangement and lighting, it can create either a calm, refined atmosphere or a festive, powerful Japanese effect.
